WORKSHOP & RETAIL STORE - ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT
Employment Type: Full-time – 40 hours per week
Location: Based in our Dargaville workshop & store, with the ability to cover leave in our Whangarei workshop as required.
What you’ll be doing:
- Managing our retail store
- Stock control – ordering stock, processing orders, selling, stock-taking, shipping
- Answering the phone, tri-aging clients & onboarding jobs for the service technicians
- Assisting customers & clients in the store
- Cleaning & general retail tidiness
- Customer service
- Administration – answering emails, checking mail, stationary, workshop supplies
- Providing advice & selling retail stock to customers
- Maintain health and safety records, and site documentation

SERVICE TECHNICIAN
Location: Based in our Dargaville workshop, working across the Kaipara & Whangarei districts.
Employment Type: Full-time (on-farm & workshop) 40 hours per week, with rostered emergency breakdown cover
What You’ll Be Doing
- Servicing, maintaining and installing farm equipment, milking systems, water pumps, effluent and irrigation systems.
- Diagnosing faults, issues and breakages; fault-finding and repairs — both on-site and in our workshop.
- Assisting with installations, trenching, setting up water-management or effluent systems, pumps, drainage and farm infrastructure.
- Keeping accurate records of work carried out; completing paperwork, service logs, job cards.
- Ordering job-specific products
- Providing great customer service — working closely with farmers, clients and suppliers, offering advice where needed, and helping problem solve.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience working with agricultural machinery, farm equipment, or rural servicing — ideally with mechanical, electrical or hydraulics background.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, ability to work independently and reliably.
- Good communication and customer-service skills — able to explain issues clearly to farmers and clients.
- A hands-on, can-do attitude: willing to tackle varied tasks, adapt to changing priorities, and get stuck in on-site or in workshop work.
- A great sense of humour—because some days, you just have to laugh.
- Someone who is flexible to cover leave, reliable, consistent & “gets sh*t done”.
- A valid New Zealand driver’s licence
